Mini-trivia: Sorry, no mini-trivia on this one, except that it is very easy to cook and delicious. I have not had this dish other than at home (at least not done in this way). Lot of Indian restuarants have a dish called 'murg bahar', but it is the same as all the other dishes (and usually has yogurt in it).
The use of tomato gives it a sharper taste than normal.
Chicken - 1 whole small chicken (cut in to small pieces)
Onion -2 (Medium/thinly sliced)
Ghee or oil - 50 gms
Sugar - 2tsp
Salt - to taste
Spice mix (grind together and fry)
Red Chilli - 4
Clove - 4
Cinnamon - 2 (1" pieces)
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Tomato - 200 gms
Onion - 1 medium
(Slice tomato and onion, boil together and then strain)
